Resources · After delivery

Put your content to work.

Great media pays off when it is used. This guide shows how to download, organize, back up, select, publish, repurpose and measure what we deliver.

The seven steps

From delivery to results you can see.

1
Download
Save the full gallery or video files as soon as they arrive, in the highest quality offered.
2
Organize
Make folders by use (website, social, press, recruiting) and use clear file names with the project and date.
3
Back up
Keep two copies in two places, such as a drive and cloud storage.
4
Select
Choose the strongest images and cuts for each audience instead of using everything everywhere.
5
Publish
Add them to your website, profiles, email and campaigns with a caption and a next step.
6
Repurpose
Turn one shoot into many pieces: crops, short clips, quotes and recaps.
7
Measure
Pick one measure per piece, check it after a month and keep what works.
Practical uses

What to do with what you receive.

Brand film
Use it as a website introduction, a sales follow-up and a presentation opener. Keep a short cut for the home page and the full film for people who want more.
Short video cuts
Use them for social posts, campaign creative and email previews. Lead with the point, add captions and end with one next step.
Team portraits
Use them on staff pages, LinkedIn and speaker bios. Update email signatures and proposals so people recognize the face.
Process photographs
Use them on service pages, in proposals and for recruiting. They show how you work, which is hard to explain in words.
Event coverage
Use it for sponsor recaps, press outreach and promotion for your next event. Send sponsors their images soon after delivery.
Anything you are unsure about
Ask us which format or crop suits a channel. Extra versions depend on your production scope.
The details

Small choices that make content work.

Captions
Write in your own voice. Lead with the point, keep it short and say who or what is pictured.
Calls to action
Give each post one next step, such as book a call, read the story or join the list.
Crops for each channel
Square, vertical and horizontal crops each suit different places. Keep faces away from the edges and ask which crops your scope includes.
Video captions
Add captions to every video. Many people watch without sound, and captions help viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Alt text
Describe what a photo shows in one plain sentence, such as who is pictured and what they are doing. Skip “image of.”
Approved usage
Check your agreement and any releases before publishing. Credit people and partners the way you agreed to, and honor anyone who opted out.
Who publishes
Name one owner for each channel and agree on a publishing day, so great content does not sit in a folder.
Plan it

Content planning worksheet.

List each asset and decide where it goes before you publish. One row per use. Add as many as you need.

Your entries stay on this device only. We never see them.

What you receive depends on your production scope.

Your proposal and agreement list the assets that are included, such as how many photos, which video cuts and which crops or versions. If you would like more versions, ask before the shoot so we can plan for them.

Measure

Pick one measure per piece.

  • Website: clicks to your contact or booking page, or inquiries that mention the page
  • Social video: watch time and replies, not only views
  • Email: replies and clicks from the featured image or clip
  • Event recap: sponsor replies and interest in the next event
  • Recruiting: applicants who mention the photos or the video
  • Check after a month and write down what you learned. Report only what you measured.
FAQ

Common questions

How soon should I publish?
Share soon after delivery. If your campaign needs images sooner, arrange advance selects with your project lead before the shoot.
Can I edit the photos myself?
Check your agreement for editing and usage terms, and ask us if you would like a different crop or version.
Where should I keep my files?
Keep two copies in two places, such as an external drive and a cloud folder, and label each folder by use.
